Oldest shopping street, perfect for shopaholics. Hotel offers a wide range of amenities and perks, like free newspapers to read while waiting for the desk to be manned.

The air-conditioned suite at Hotel De Gulden Waagen was absolutely fantastic! It had a cozy bed, a TV with streaming services, and beautiful views of the city. The soundproof walls made it really peaceful and relaxing. As a guest with disabilities, these features made my stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the Double Room with Balcony and Suite with Balcony because they didn't have air conditioning. However, I understand that some guests might still enjoy the fresh air and natural atmosphere that these rooms offer.

The hotel's location is jaw-droppingly good, just a short walk from the train station and right in the heart of the city center. Despite being close to cafes, it is super quiet at night. The antique look of the hotel is mind-blowing, and the rooms are spacious with a flat-screen TV and air conditioning.
